This Privacy Policy describes how Just Calendar + Complications ("the App"), developed by Mark Gravely ("we", "us", or "our"), handles your information. The App is designed to be local-first — your calendar data stays on your device.
We do not collect, store, or have access to:
The App does not require an account and does not have a backend that receives your personal data.
The App requests read access to your device calendars so it can display your events and complications. This data is read on-device only — it is never uploaded, shared, or transmitted off your device. The App does not write to or modify your calendars. You can revoke calendar access at any time via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars.
All settings you configure are stored locally on your device. Complication and widget snapshots are rendered locally by watchOS / iOS so your watch face and Home Screen can display them.
The App offers optional one-time purchases and a Premium subscription that unlock additional features. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. Apple collects the billing and payment information needed to complete the purchase. We never see or store your payment card details. Apple's handling of your data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
To verify your purchase entitlements across devices, we use RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives an anonymous user identifier and your purchase receipt from Apple — it does not receive your name, email, or calendar content. RevenueCat's handling of this data is governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
