These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of Claudy ("the App"), a macOS application developed and published by Mark Gravely ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Claudy is a macOS desktop application that provides a graphical interface for managing Claude Code sessions, projects, and accounts. It communicates with Anthropic's Claude API on your behalf using credentials you provide.
Claudy is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Anthropic, PBC.
The App includes a free 14-day trial period beginning on the date you first launch it. During the trial you have full access to all features at no charge and without providing payment information.
The trial period is limited to one trial per installation. If you delete and reinstall the App, a new trial period may begin. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the trial offer at any time.
Purchases of Claudy (including one-time licenses and any future subscription plans) are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. When you purchase the App, you are purchasing from Paddle, subject to Paddle's own Buyer Terms of Service.
All prices are displayed in US dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Paddle at checkout.
Upon a successful purchase, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the App on your macOS devices for your own personal or professional use.
You may not:
Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, all refund requests are handled through Paddle's standard refund process. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on new purchases. To request a refund, contact Paddle support within 30 days of your purchase date.
After 30 days, refunds are at our sole discretion and will generally not be issued unless required by applicable consumer protection law.
The App requires you to provide Claude API credentials (access tokens and session keys) to function. These credentials are stored locally on your device using macOS Keychain and are never transmitted to our servers.
We do not collect, store, or process any of your Claude conversations, prompts, or outputs. All API calls are made directly from your device to Anthropic's servers.
For details on how we handle any data associated with your license, please see our Privacy Policy.
The App interacts with Anthropic's Claude API. Your use of Claude is governed by Anthropic's Terms of Service. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or operation of Anthropic's services.
The Claudy Marketplace hosts community-submitted plugins (Skills, MCPs, and Commands). These plugins are created by third parties and are not reviewed, endorsed, or warranted by us. You install and use them at your own risk.
We may release updates to the App from time to time. Updates may modify or remove features. We do not guarantee that any particular feature will remain available indefinitely.
We reserve the right to discontinue the App at any time. In the event of discontinuation, we will provide reasonable notice and, where possible, continue to make existing versions available for download.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in California.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you have any questions about these Terms, please open an issue on GitHub or reach out via the contact details on this site.
