This Privacy Policy describes how Duck Shooter: Tabletop AR ("the App"), developed by Mark Gravely ("we", "us", or "our"), handles your information. The App is an augmented-reality shooting game that drops a duck island on your real table. It does not require an account.

1. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or have access to:

  • Your name, email, phone number, contacts, or location
  • Any account or profile — the App has no sign-in
  • Camera images, video, or any scan of your room (see section 2)

2. Camera and AR

The App uses your device camera through Apple's ARKit to find the surface it places the island on and to draw the game over your surroundings. Camera frames and the surface data derived from them are processed entirely on your device, in real time. Nothing from the camera is recorded, uploaded, or sent to us or to anyone else.

3. Online Leaderboard

If you finish a solo round, the App submits that score to its online leaderboard so it can show you where the run landed. What is sent is limited to: the display name you chose in the App, the score and accuracy of the run, and a random identifier generated on first launch that distinguishes two players with the same name. That identifier is not tied to your Apple Account, your device, or you.

The leaderboard runs on Supabase, which stores this data on our behalf and processes it under Supabase's Privacy Policy. Your display name is public — it appears to everyone who opens the board, so please do not put personal information in it.

4. Playing at the Same Table

Multiplayer works over your local Wi-Fi network, directly between the devices at the table. Your display name, chosen colour, and score are shared with the other players in that session. Nothing about a shared game passes through our servers.

5. Advertising

The free version shows an ad between rounds, served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob collects device and advertising identifiers (such as your advertising ID), general device information, and ad interaction data. This data is processed by Google according to Google's Privacy Policy and their EU User Consent Policy. We do not receive or store this data ourselves — it is collected and processed directly by Google.

In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland the App asks for your consent before requesting ads, using Google's consent form. On iOS it also asks, through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether ads may use your advertising identifier. Declining either is fine — the game plays exactly the same, and you can change your mind later in iOS Settings.

Buying the full version removes the ads, and the ad SDK then requests nothing at all.

6. Analytics

The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to count how the game is actually played — rounds finished, scores and accuracy as numbers, when the full-version card is shown, and whether a purchase or restore succeeded. Firebase also records standard device and app information such as device model, operating system version, country, and a resettable app-instance identifier.

These are counts and events, not a diary: no display name, no leaderboard entry, and nothing from the camera is ever attached to them. The data is processed by Google under Firebase's privacy documentation and Google's Privacy Policy.

7. The Full Version

The full version is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple. Apple collects the billing and payment information needed to complete it. We never see or store your payment card details. Apple's handling of your data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

To recognise the purchase across your devices we use RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier and your purchase receipt from Apple — not your name, email, or anything about how you play. Its handling of that data is governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

8. On-Device Storage

Your settings, personal bests, and whether you own the full version are stored locally on your device. We have no access to this data.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is directed at a general audience aged 13 and older and is not designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Removing Your Leaderboard Entry

Email support@markg.app with the display name you played under and we will remove the entry.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
