This Privacy Policy describes how Countdown ("the App"), developed by Mark Gravely ("we", "us", or "our"), handles your information. The App is designed to be local-first — your countdowns stay on your device.

1. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or have access to:

• Your countdowns, event names, dates, photos, or notes
• Your name, email, phone number, contacts, or location
• Usage analytics, crash reports, or telemetry of any kind
• Your IP address

The App does not require an account and does not have a backend that receives your personal data.

2. On-Device Storage

All countdowns and settings you create are stored locally on your device. Widget snapshots are also rendered locally by iOS so your Home Screen and Lock Screen can display them.

3. Premium Subscription

Countdown offers an optional Premium subscription that unlocks additional widget styles and features. Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. Apple collects the billing and payment information needed to complete the purchase. We never see or store your payment card details. Apple's handling of your data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

To verify your subscription entitlement across devices, we use RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives an anonymous user identifier and your purchase receipt from Apple — it does not receive your name, email, or countdown content. RevenueCat's handling of this data is governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

4. Children's Privacy

Countdown is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
